Land forming and surface drainage – Agricane continues to innovate and lead in the region with agricultural land forming either with laser or GPS RTK control. We successfully designed,managed and implemented over 900ha in Zambia, 1100ha at Xinavane, 700ha at Marromeu and 5400ha for Sucoma in Malawi of precision levelling for irrigated crops. 
From incorporation in 1996 we have been at the forefront of agricultural development, dealing with both large and small-scale agricultural development projects. To date, Agricane is the market leader in agricultural development and, as a result, we have been growing steadily for 13 years.
Our highly qualified and experienced personnel have deep roots and proven knowledge in remote African conditions. To date, we have extensive experience in 12 African countries working with the private and voluntary sectors.
Whilst our main area of expertise is in sugar cane production, we have skills and extensive expertise in coffee, tea, tobacco, jatropha and commercial crocodile production.
Agricane has the advantage of experts in irrigation, bulk water, drainage, agronomy, mechanisation and project management. To compliment these fields we also have our own survey and remote sensing division that covers anything from cadastral to topographic, through to engineering surveys and satellite imagery and interpretation.Over the last 14 years Agricane has been involved in the implementation of some of the largest agricultural development projects in southern and central Africa and completed assignments in the following:-“
