We undertake these designs as a specialist requirement for the agricultural business and adapted civil engineering to suit agricultural applications. Our design team has professional civil engineering status, who are currently accredited with the South African Institute of Civil Engineers.

Through the development and replanting of thousands of hectares in many different situations the Agricane team can offer mechanisation solutions to most projects. The team is led by Mike von Kaufmann who is a mechanisation specialist with many years of experience in tropical and sub-tropical agriculture in a wide range of environments and crops with solutions to match all requirements from the conventional methods to innovative out of the box solutions.

The Agricane team is regionally regarded as leaders when it comes to furrow and flood irrigation, based on many years of proven experience in the irrigated cane and rice industries. Furrow and flood irrigation needs highly accurate land forming to be cost effective and a deep understanding of the relationship between soils and water uptake in the design considerations.
