Many schools in the communities where we work have outgrown their facilities, forcing children to learn outdoors regardless of the weather. Meanwhile, increasingly severe rainfall has damaged existing infrastructure and limited opportunities for expansion. In response to priorities identified by local leaders and community development committees, Agricane has constructed new school blocks that provide safer, more effective learning environments, particularly for older students preparing for examinations.

Across Agricane, our farmer cooperatives, and the Innovation Hub, we help build skills, careers, and employment opportunities through management development, vocational training, and practical agricultural education.

Today, the Phata and Kasinthula farmer cooperatives and Mwaya Vocational College manage their own training programmes, while the Innovation Hub shares knowledge through international scientific partnerships. Agricane also delivers extensive training in modern agricultural practices, equipment operation, and workplace safety.
