Project Overview
Dangote Sugar is undertaking a major expansion programme targeting production of 1.5–2 million tonnes of white sugar within 5–10 years, reducing reliance on imports. The programme incorporates fuel-grade ethanol production and power co-generation, using modern technology, efficient operations and appropriate mechanisation, while maximising Nigerian participation and creating significant employment.
